Beginning of April I am going on a vacation/work trip with my wife to Champagne, Burgundy, Jura, Alsace, Mosel & Ahr and could really use some good tips.
Our itinerary is:
– Two nights in Reims with a visit to Ruinart
– Two nights in Ay-Champagne where we sleep at Le Clos Corbier where we have a champagne tour and next day will visit Billecart-Salmon
– Three nights in Beaune, Burgundy where we will visit Château de Fuissé (bit of a drive)
– One night in Arbois, Jura
– Three nights in Turckheim, Alsace, where we will visit Domaine Weinbach
– One night in Saarburg where we will visit Van Volxem
– Two nights in Bernkastel-Kues where we will visit Markus Molitor
– Two Nights in Ahrtal where we will visit Jean Stodden.
We are really looking for nice restaurants, wine bars, experiences, vineyards, etc. Is there something we should really see or do on our trip?

omg ruinart is literally my dream visit! my wine prof showed us pics from there and those chalk caves look insane.
When you’re in Arbois, Domaine Mouillard (Jean-Luc) in Mantry (20min by car) is definitely worth a visit! Great wines with the typical Jura taste and style. Their selection and their Vin Jayne Chateau-Chalon are fantastic! When you’re in Bernkastel-Kues I would try to visit JJ Prüm, they’re located a village further along the Mosel, great wines!
