Last pic is our current couch situation. As you can see in the picture, the couch is very slouchy and worn out. It’s my husband & I’s first couch when moving in together so we went with something affordable and not the best quality.
We are looking for a new couch now and are torn on colors. We don’t have pets or children so a light color works fine with us. We were super set on an olive colored couch but the saleswoman at crate & barrel said it’s a color commitment for the next 10+ years which left us second guessing the color. We’re still open to a bold color but would like to hear other suggestions and opinions if anyone here owns a bold colored couch (any regrets?).
Our living room will only allow us to do this L sectional but my husband is super adamant on getting something with a lounge chasis which is fine, but after measuring, it would take up the entire space in living room; the sofa near the window would take up the entire window and nearly hit the adjacent wall where our tv & media console is. (I have a previous post with a picture of this wall).
Do the 2 sofas together look ridiculous? They will be much bigger in person, this VR image isn’t accurate at all. Or does the L-shaped sectional look better? I suggested purchasing an ottoman with the couch.
