How can we spruce up this corner?

Our living room is more mid century modern, with different types of wood furniture, black metal, and navy accents (dark blue wall behind tv, dark blue leather chairs for our wood dining room table). We are slowly tying everything together and recently upgraded our vinyl set up with this new sideboard, and hung some paintings. I want to spruce it up with more colour and make it more fun and would love suggestions!
