For usability, I like 2 and 4. 3 looks good but you will see every crumb which is maddening.

If you’re keeping the backsplash and cabinets the same I love the black color/last slide!

i think any of the options could potentially work, but you’re going to need to update the backsplash as well.

The last one, the others clash with the tiles

  5. BigSky1062

The last one is the only one that works with existing backsplash.

If you’re keeping the backsplash, the last one for sure.

5 works best with the backsplash. 2 looks okay to me, but I think 5 is the best bet.

I know people here are so against white kitchens but I really like the white

My family recently did a kitchen remodel with a counter similar to 3. We don’t love it as much as we thought we would.

The last one if keeping existing back splash

The last two are the only right options.

Everyone is saying black but as someone with textured black countertops, don’t do it. They camouflage spills and unless everyone in your household is good about wiping them down, you’ll constantly find sticky spots. I absolutely hate them.

Are there more options? I’d go with something that matches the backsplash. The last one is closest, but I’d explore different textures. Maybe something like Uba Tuba? Maybe a dark granite?

I’m also into dated kitchen finishes because they are practical, so take my advise with a grain of salt.

Pic 5 goes perfectly with the backsplash

All white. The backsplash makes things DARK
