I am dissatisfied with the current layout of my living room because of the high TV, but I am not sure where else to put it while maintaining easy access around the couch and seating near the fireplace. Could I have some advice on possible layouts?
I have a lot of thrifted furniture that'll eventually be replaced with things that look more cohesive, but it's a WIP. I'm just focused on the overall layout right now.

Your tv should go where the tank is with the couch facing that wall. The current set up looks ridiculous.
This is definitely a tricky layout. I recommend getting a projector instead to save space. The only option i see would be to have a projector screen where the window and fish tank is and have the couch angled straight to face it. I would move the fish tank and other stuff to the blank wall.
