Please excuse the mess ๐ซ
So I just put up some light "cream"/white colored curtains for my patio door and large picture window. I chose a super light color for those windows because I still wanted as much light as possible even when closed.
I have a pair of windows adjacent that I added linen roman shades in a very similar color. We would mainly be using the Roman shades for privacy. I wanted to add curtains to those windows as well but wanted some contrast to the Roman shades, so I was thinking maybe a slightly darker tan. The curtains would mainly just be for the aesthetics and would mainly stay open. So would it be ok to have different colored curtains or would it look bad?

Not an expert, but I would prefer them the same. OCD thing? lol
it should be the same to provide cohesiveness. it would be the same for an open concept space, youโd want the same curtains to tie everything together even if theyโre โseparateโ spaces.
