I have zero talent in decorating. Please help what could be done in our living room especially with the left side where our "puppy island" is. The ceiling gets weird and angled there. Our 2 dogs get on the couch so we could easily get rid of their island. The area rug underneath it is just to try and keep them from slipping. We definitely need to paint and remove the popcorn ceiling for sure. Otherwise that tall angled ceiling is overwhelming and I am lost. Thank you in advance for any suggestions or advice.
