When I ran the Marathon du Medoc, the “recovery” walk the next day your admission ticket was a plastic tastevein. You walked from winery to winery and held out your tastevin and they put wine in it.
I’m a master knight of the Knights of the Vine. All knights get tastevins on induction but we don’t tend to drink out of them. I was the senior inductee the year I joined so I had to drink out of one that was about a foot in diameter during the ceremony.
