I LOVEEEE my green sofa, but does it go with the blue and gray coastal vibes of the house ?!

I don’t want to change the green sofa but I feel like it doesn’t go with the vibe *sad face*

I don’t want a white slip cover sofa just seems so plain! Would a carmel leather be better?

If you love your green sofa, then it’s the right choice for you. Help it talk to the other things you put in the room by finding out what they have in common: Linen-y green and “coastal” blue-gray are all very nature-inspired vibes. You can embrace an organic modern look for the room: Find textures made of natural materials (stone, wood, sisal, jute, linen, cotton) for the accessories you choose. Then carry your color palette across the whole room: Make sure you have a rich green somewhere besides just the couch (wall art? Hanging plants?), and make sure you choose some throw pillows for your green couch that reflect those blue/gray coastal colors and tones. Google “organic modern decor” for tons of ideas.

    I love your sofa.

I don’t love the pale blue and gray, but you love it and that’s what matters.

You also love your green sofa.

Keep and enjoy what you love. What you love is the vibe. No one is forcing an aesthetic rubric on you or your home. Your home should be what you love.
