Brilllant chablis that seems to lean a tad Puligny in the 2015 vintage. A balanced trifecta of high acid, concentration and weight that is intense yet elegant. Shows complexity across a range of primary (lemon curd, yellow apple, pear, kiwi, acacia, chamonmile, oyster shell, sea mist, wet rock, gun flint, smoke) and secondary (peanut shell, slight caramel) and tertiary (honey, beeswax), all wafting from the glass. Intensity elevates further on the palate with an oily waxy texture that the high acid cuts through like a Blue Super. Finish is long.
Vincent Dauvissat continues to be my favorite Chablis producer.
