I’ve just acquired an additional wine cellar. What are your preferred methods for wine storage?

FYI Champagne corks can dry out much like still wine corks, for long term storage it should be stored on its side.

  2. Turn everything on it’s side unless it’s screw cap.  Unless you really plan on aging the wine, store them at drinking temperature. If you want to age the wine and not age it for a super long time store it around 59-60degrees.

I keep my cellar around 55°F

Everything on its side unless it’s a screw cap. Sparkling wine closed with a cork should also be on its side if you don’t plan to drink it soon.
