2018 Sun Goddess Merlot, Friuli IT
MY FIRST MERLOT THURSDAY POST!
I’m a sucker for a Friuli Merlot, and this bottle looked like a good time gal.
That being said, kind of mid. Mid, plush tannin. Mid acid. Mid + alc. Red + black plumb saturating my nostrils and tonsils. some neutral oak.
Ultimately, far from bad far from memorable, $40 from Astor Place Wines in NYC.
