I just painted the wall green (SW Nettle).
I don’t love the night stands – they’re thrifted end tables I previously used in the living room and here they’re turned sideways. I’m also looking for a white quilt instead of the green. And I kind of need some lamp / lighting inspiration.
But my question…I’m not sure what to add above the bed. Would love all suggestions!

Above the bed, I think a textured abstract painting with a golden frame would be better. As for the bedside table, replacing it with a slightly wider piece of furniture in a walnut mid-century modern style that matches well would effectively separate the space from that dark wall. Pair it with some elegant antique copper chandeliers with cream-colored lampshades to add height, and then add your white bedding idea.
Artwork or a wall hanging above the bed. Also, if possible, I would center the bed on the wall and use a bigger rug that goes under the whole bed. Would be better visually and cozy to step on vs. the hardwood floors. You could also do a plant in the right hand corner/by the window.
