Honestly I was thinking functionality/purpose over looks but now that my friends have laughed at me about it they may be right that it doesn’t match my boho cozy aesthetic. Any way I can reupholster this?
The bottom shouldn’t be too hard! If you unscrew it from the plastic bit you should be able to staple a new fabric over it. The backrest looks a lil tougher but you can probably make a slipcover type thing for it

Doesn’t really give “gamer” in my opinion. If you sit in it for decent amounts of time, stick to functionality/purpose over looks. Your back will thank you! My office chair looks completely out of place in my apartment, but risking back pain in a few years isn’t worth the aesthetic 🙂↕️
