I just cleared out a pile of junk in front of an old door and found a little wine cellar! I don't know much about wine, a lot of these don't look like very high-end wines or are white wines and rosé, i'm about to pop open a bottle of Syrah from 2003 ☠️
Can anyone give me any advice on what to look for? How can you tell if it's still good?

Download Vivino and take a picture of the label and it will tell you, or donate it all to me for inspection.
Enjoy the find!!! Save the great ones for your upcoming friends and family gatherings!!
Is this a bad troll job?
We’re gonna need some more info. Was this in your house? How long have you lived there? Who assembled the contents? Come on!
Was this in a home you just purchased?
There could be some gems in there but it’s hard to know without seeing all the labels and then determining the environmental conditions for the last room
Is this r/winecirclejerk now?
Edit: lmao that’s an actual sub
That looks like a serious storage setup for what you are saying is not very high end wine.
Bottles look to be in good shape which is a good sign. Check the fill levels on the neck. If they look relatively close (less than one inch) from a normal bottle- then you have as good a chance as any at these being good!
The key will be age. Hopefully these bottles are no more than 30-40 years old (depends on grape/region/vintage) but if they are 80s-2000s and are from good vineyards, you should have some baller bottles in there.
WineBid does big lot sales and I would recommend reaching out to them. Def pull 1/4 or so to the side of anything from Burgundy, Bordeaux, Barolo and Riesling.
Brotha we need to see pics of labels. You dont even have to mive the bottles just get us some pics!!
As others stated, we need pictures of labels – mostly the French stuff
