I just leased this apartment and I have no idea how to set up this living room. The entrance is on the left and a gas fireplace with a mantle for a tv is on the fight (I’m standing in the dining room). I have a medium sectional couch, plants and a coffee table, but that’s it lol for the life of me cannot figure out how to set this up! Any help is so so appreciated!

I actually think your space has a really good base — it just feels a bit unfinished right now.
The biggest thing missing is a focal point. Right now the wall doesn’t really anchor the room, so everything feels a little scattered.
I’d start by adding one larger piece of wall art (or even a small gallery layout) above the main area to create structure. Something with a bit of contrast or warmth would help break up the flat tone.
Also consider layering in one or two elements like a rug or plant to give the space more depth — right now it’s very clean but a bit too uniform.
