I recently moved into my first house and don’t have any interior design skills and am starting here from scratch. For sure keeping the tv and couch where they are. I’m looking to replace the console in the corner with something more sleek and possible use it to display my record player/vinyls. I’m lost on what to put on the walls, should I do artwork, floating shelves, etc.? I’ll leave some pics on what I’m looking at. Looking at getting a lamp that hangs over the couch as a reading spot but not set on that.
TLDR: if this was your space what would you do with it.

I like your tv where it is ….. but be prepared to hear from the “tv too high” people lol
What if you put the TV on the blank wall and the painting over the fireplace, then rotate the couch. Add a rug and coffee table or maybe a c table over the couch
You really need your sectional to be right sided if you’re putting it there. This is going to make a really awkward space. Is there equal room on the other side of the room, where you could move it over and walk around the short side instead?
Otherwise I’d put the sectional to the left, long side next to the fireplace, and put the TV on that blank wall.
I think you need a rug. The couch and carpet are too similar.
The only thing that’s bothering me is the carpet right up to the fireplace
