Had high hopes opening this on Sunday, as this would be one of my first Oregon Chardonnays in a very long time. It did not turn out as expected. Immediately after opening and pouring all this wine had to offer was fudge and popcorn. Lots of fudge. Decided to decant immediately, so it got to breathe for 1-2 hours before dinner. After an hour the fudge had relented a bit, but was still dominant. Taste was some very indefinable unripe fruit, with obvious fudge and a hint of honey. Too unfocused and unbalanced.
Drinkable, but not great, wife enjoyed it though. 87 points.

That is a beautiful wine glass, where did you get it? 🤩 (Or if it came as a pair or set)
Haven’t loved the Chardonnays I’ve had from Adelsheim, but their Pinots have been enjoyable.
