Hey guys, another post about looking for ideas around my house. (Please ignore the mess.)
So first, I’m getting my floors sanded and restained to be more neutral and lighter. With that now being said, I have zero idea how to kinda improve the space over time. I have ideas on what I like but not trying to spend so much money at once as it’s a work in progress. The first thing I’d like to address is the windows. I guess a super simple thing to address is what type of drapes should I get too?
I kinda give up, so the first thing is I am thinking a black casement picture window swiveling from the sides as that would provide contrast to the light wood. Upstairs doing an awning casement swiveling up and out. Do I want the black lines in the middle or do you think it would look good without the lines? If I do black casements, what style should I lean towards interior wise? What type of drapes and rods would look good too?
Do we think black would work or would another color be better. All my neighbors have white windows and the house in front of my actually has brown casements.
I know this is interior design and asking about windows but the windows play a big role on how the interior will look too.
