Put together a Lamb wellington and had a 2019 Paololeo Salice Valentino with it.
Lovely wine, medium plus body with just a bucket of baked cherry notes and cedar filling the wine out. Reasonable finish, the alcohol was noticeable but to be expected from the region. Great combination for any lamb dishes.
