At first I liked the grey, but the more I look at them, the brown feels more homey and comfy.

I think the grey is cooler and will become less dated – I would stick with that and just bring in texture a bit more on pillows and maybe some poufs?

The brown couch definitely feels more cosy.

Everything else doesn’t have to be brown though. Cream curtains would look lovely

Do you have to get them as a set? Can you add some different accent colors and textures? I’d say gray for the couch, then a totally different rug, curtains and pillows.

The brown one has too much brown for me. It reminds me of the side of the 80s that so many people forget. Sooo brown. I suggest if you go for brown, you add extra colors in to avoid it looking like a room that wasn’t updated in 40 years.

The brown feels more cozy and the gray modern(ish). That said, brown can date itself quickly. Whichever you choose, I would bring in other coordinating colors either in the rug or other furniture to lift the sofas a bit.

None. Get a couch with a color you like and then add to it with color.

I think the bigger problem is the style of this couch rather than the color of it. Are you set on this design?

Brown couch!! But do something different with the curtains and rug because that’s a lot of brown in one room.

Brown couch, oatmeal or cream curtains. Try getting a rug with brown, neutrals, and maybe a pop of earth tone like green. Add in pillows that are cream/green or whatever colors are in the rug. It’ll feel warm and cozy!
