Having a hard time with rugs for our entryway. We live in a place with snow and wet, so ideally, would like something that is big enough for people to step in and keep the dirt off the floors. The bigger rug is 5×7, but I think it might be too big, and make the space more crowded? But a 4×6 feels like it would be too small. The vent next to the door complicates things a little, but I’m not opposed to closing it and covering.

Not sure what other info would be needed but happy to provide any info that would help!

Keep the entry rug for practical purposes.

If you need the extra rug, get a round or oval one instead of another rectangle. I’m not great on estimating sizes though so maybe someone else can help with that.

This space should have one rug, not the entryway thing and another one. Go with a runner. If you must have two then get a small rubber one that layers over the runner.
