That’s a challenge because you can separate the space from the dining area with an appropriately sized and placed sectional but then what do you do with the extra “dining” space behind it? Book cases with a game table and chairs? Do you love plants and have lots to display that can live happily there? Mega aquarium? 😂
That’s the only real problem I see. Otherwise, the living area comes together easily with the right area rug and furniture.

This is a very nice space!! Maybe you can create a separation with the dining room using a sofa or partition shelves like this
