I’m new to interior decorating. For the life of me I canopy figure out why my decor doesn’t look good to me. It’s off. I really want to make my home look aesthetic and chic with a basic understanding and money but I’m never happy with tbe way I style things. What am I doing wrong?

If feels odd to have a tea kettle and kitchen aid here.
You need a bigger frame and it needs to be level. Also I don’t know if your print is AI but it looks like it. I would also store away your coffee mugs. You just need to make it feel intentional to be chic.
Move the kitchen aid, tea pot, little shot glasses – anything that’s visible and not related to coffee – somewhere else. You could move that little basket of coffee supplies up next to the espresso machine. If you have a bunch of cute mugs & they go with your decor, you could display them on the top ledge, which would also be practical.
I’d remove the kitchen aid from this coffee station. Its the same height and colour as the espresso machine so it competes for your eye’s focal attention. Put the mixer in a cabinet or on a different counter and then move some cute mugs or glassware in its place. The asymmetry of something small beside the espresso machine will look better.
You should hang tea cups over it and move the kitchen aide somewhere else cause it doesn’t really have anything to do with coffee.

I don’t understand the purpose of a coffee station except in a very compact space. I think it looks a bit awkward here. Will the coffee machine not fit on your kitchen counter?
Picture needs to be higher
You need to move the mixer.
Center the coffee maker.
Put cups, to one side and coffee/tea accessories on the other.
And as much as I love your painting get a horizontal one maybe or center the painting and put a plant on one side of the upper shelf and maybe a bowl or something decorative on the other side of the upper shelf. I don’t hate the tea pot but maybe put it down next to the coffeemaker. I have this same coffee machine. I love the instant hot water part. So good for making tea. ❤️
