900 sqft rooftop space on top of my new condo (don’t have a photo of the other side sorry!) that I don’t know what to do with! I told my husband I want it to feel like a “beautiful oasis” but idk what to actually put up here! I don’t have a budget, just want to love this space in the end.

If it’s prone to wind… you’ll need sturdy stuff that won’t blow across the roof and fly off. Something low and heavy or that you can secure by bolting or tying down.
It looks like someone tried a tent? (from what looks like wreckage of one of those popups).
I’d observe the space in different types of weather for a while and check how the breezes go for a little while before putting anything up there.
When you said “beautiful oasis” did hubby actually hear “A hefty grille and seating for cookouts” or “great spot for some weightlifting equipment” by any chance?
That is what I think might work, due to the chances of anything actually “beautiful oasis” looking would be flimsy and blown through the railing and off the roof in the first big wind.
Looking at that weather, I’d leave it as is
