Thank you all who commented earlier! Some mentioned I needed a bigger decor piece, and I agree! I had this huge ass fan in my storage closet and decided to use it above the couch! It’s definitely more balanced now, but I’m now lacking color. See pics 2 and 3 as the ideas I have for the decor pillows and please VOTE your favorite. I’m still working on the areas besides the couch. Will need to do some shopping.

Update on dogs: big dawg has migrated to the front door and is looking out the window. Little dawg has decided to stay napping on the couch. They already went on their afternoon walk so they’re not lazy all day 😊
In my opinion, the pillows you have chosen are too busy to be used with the rug. I would use something more toned down.
I might pick out a color from the rug (probs the red) and find some solid color but textured pillows in that color. The rug is a star.

I like the checkered pillows. Those are fun, like the rug, and nicely textured too!
