
Hi guys! I am fairly new in Sauternes world. I recently acquired a 2007 Chateau de Myrat and a 1988 Guiraud. Planning on opening one at a time over the next few months. I wanna maximize the experience. My main questions are:
If I can’t finish a bottle, will they keep well in the fridge with a vac stopper for a day? A week? I have had great experiences with storing younger Sauternes with just a cork over multiple weeks, but with the age on these, is that a bad idea?
Best glassware?
Pop and pour? Decant?
Best temperature?
Anything else I should consider?
