My house is a 1890 Victorian home, and I ended up using the rugby from our old home to protect our floors until I find a new one. I love this rug, but I feel like it's not on-theme for the Victorian and modern Victorian vibe we have in the house. Do I need a bigger one? This is a 9×12. The art is also old. I feel like the left one is too modern, too. My trees have since died. How would you fix this space?

Hmmmm I think an emerald green rug would really pull the entire room together. It works well with the wooden flooring and large palms behind. 😊
