I just got the perfect sideboard for my entryway, but am stuck on 3!decisions. 1. Should I center on the wall or on the rug? 2. Should I leave it sparce on the wall or have something in the corner? 3. I want just one big print above the sideboard (not hung yet but in one photo). My husband thinks the wall needs more photos.
I would like to paint but not sure what color. I have 2 Bernese Mountain dogs that lay against the walls, so would love an opinion on that too. FYI, my husband wants to keep the paint color the same…less work. I do have 2 white exterior doors. I’m considering painting them black since they are at the opposite end of the sideboard. I think it would anchor the room.

I’d say, center it with the wall, put the blue plant pot on the right side, preferably with a tall growing plant. And put less on the sideboard, it feels too full
That rug is too small
You need something above it on the wall bigger and better than the sleighrides sign (unless it’s the right season ofc), not as much on top of the side board – so you can use it functionally sometime
Hang a pic (sleigh rides is kinda chugey) and keep one plant on it. In between. The little side table is hanging on for dear life so just move that plant on it and call it good.
For colors- you have a lot of mixed materials and wood shades. With the floor I don’t think white doors or starker white paint would look good. Black door no. Just keep as is.
