I’ve been in this house for 3 years now and haven’t painted anything yet. Feeling like it’s overdue and I’d love to start with the kitchen. It gets great natural light. The cabinets are an orangey-wood so I want something that’ll work with them rather than make them look as dated as they are. 😂

Sage green always looks nice with that kind of wood, just make sure you pick one that is definitely green and not too gray or cool toned.

Sherwin Williams Rosemary is really nice. It’s a bit dark but it looks really good with wood, so you could try Rosemary just in the kitchen and a lighter version in the rest of your home, or a coordinating beige.

Beige around the cabinets themselves would be tough. I think anything warm enough to work is going to be an ugly color.
Another option is a creamy white with a similar undertone to the wood, that will help mute it down a little.
Avoid blues unless you want the cabinets to stand out more.
