Mas d’en Gil Bellmunt Negre Priorat 2018.
Bellmunt Negre Priorat is estate's “younger wine”. It presents a more fresh and accessible style of the Priorat region, based on fruit from younger vines growing in the Vall del Bellmunt valley.
The wine is aged for about 10 months in barrels or large vats.
Bellmunt Negre is made from Grenache (Garnacha) and Carignan (Cariñena) grapes.
Color: cherry red.
On the nose: fruity, with notes of red and dark fruits such as plums, dark cherries and raspberries with hints of spices, licorice and black pepper.
On the palate: harmonious, medium+ bodied with well-integrated tannins and fresh acidity.
Finish is medium-long and fruity.
