I feel like there used to be too much blue and green in this room. Can you help me pick a different rug so I can add some fun and funky throw pillows? Ignore the kids things strewn everywhere, we live here.
Is this right off of your entry? With another living room in the back? There’s more of a problem here than colors. Everything is oriented in shotgun style in this narrow space and there’s no balance. I would start with curtains to soften it up, more art on the blank wall, and anchor the rug under your sofa. Really tough space!

Terracotta is a good color for the green. Rig, art and soft accessories.
The issue is it’s a dining room!
