I’m going back in forth with what to do with my space. The first pic is standing in the living room facing the front of the house. Second pic is from the dining room. I took out those ugly blinds to add a curtain. But the problem is the wall that cuts the window in half. Should I do two seperate curtains with a gap or run the curtain rod under the wall.

I would do Roman shades
I love curtains. But this is a situation where I think you need to go with blinds. It’s going to look awkward no matter what you do if you try to hang curtains.
id run one continuous rod across both sections tbh. the gap from two separate curtains will look awkward and draw attention to that weird wall cutoff. mount the rod as high as you can above the window and extend it a few inches past each side so the curtains frame the whole thing as one piece. way cleaner look
