We have this sliding mirror, it has a little medicine cabinet behind it on the right side. I really wish it was more chic with a nice frame. I’d love to make that metal sliding
piece into wood or at least like a brushed nickel. Is there any way I can make it look better without ripping it out?

I would do a mosaic of tiles glued over the metal.
