Are you gifting to someone who knows wine? Are they a Cabernet drinker?

Gary Farrell is consistently excellent. Not a flashy label but what really matters is under the cork.

Of those I would go frogs leap

Can hardly go wrong with the napa cabs pictured, just find your price range. Id steer clear of Bella Glos (the wax dipped one) its just not a great quality price ratio. If you go Pinot, I found the calling to be drinkable if youre just going from this picture. I personally would rather go to burgundy if youre getting pinot. Otherwise, as long as you hit your price range, none of these are bad buys as a gift, per say

The only one I’ve had is Justin and I didn’t like it

The Freemark abbey at that price is great. Otherwise the frog leap

Pretty good price for My Favorite Neighbor. That and most of the top row would be good for most people.

Frogs leap or domaine drouhin

The Far Niente is nice, and on sale.

Papillon or the Joseph Phelps. Both incredible wines
trevrichards
The Calling (bottom right) is supposed to be a very nice Russian River Valley pinot for the price. I haven’t tried yet but it is saved on my list to buy next.
If they are not a super experienced wine drinker, I imagine it would do the job. Others can hopefully weigh in.

That Drouhin Pinot punches well above its weight. Delicious stuff.

Flowers all day.

Faust or Daoa (they make a great Chardonnay – haven’t tried theirs red but they’re on my list)

Faust. Baby Quintessa.

Flowers point was pretty solid last I recall

Freemark Abbey is good

Tbh I don’t really enjoy this selection, but if I was forced it would be the Frank Family or Drouhin

I would go with Newton, as it burned down and is not coming back.

I’ll throw my vote in; Newton. 2 big reasons why: -They have an amazing story and their grounds were insane (even relative to Napa, their gardens were storybook-esque). -They got utterly destroyed by the 2020 fires, never bounced back, and are now defunct.
So there sits in front of you a wine made from vines that are no longer alive and made by a winery that’s no longer In Operation. Try that cab, it’ll be extinct soon.

Far Niente & Flowers are solid choices

Chimney Rock is an excellent napa cab and would be my pick here. It also won some spectator woty award for those who care about those things.
Where are you located?

The 2019 St. Supery up in the corner is really nice, and its older than most of the other cabs up there!
