Have an entire house to set up and buy stuff for and I'm overwhelmed. Which direction and size rug should I go for? Top rainbow rug is 6×9; bottom gray rug padis for a 8×10 rug. Also what is the correct direction for the rug? I'm coming from a small apartment with no rug use. Thanks!

If this is a room for a little girl I’d go with the smaller rug in the direction it’s in pic 2.
Not sure if furniture placement is set like in the pics but I wouldn’t put the bed in that corner
