My room is really small and I’ve always wanted one of those big floor loungers, but they’re either too expensive or too bulky for the space. I also didn’t want to deal with second-hand furniture. So I tried something a bit random… I bought an oversized pet bed on shein and turned it into my own little reading corner.
It’s actually super soft and low to the ground, which makes the space feel more open. I added a throw blanket and a small pillow to make it feel less “pet” and more intentional. The round shape also helps soften the room since most of my furniture is pretty boxy. Funny thing is, my cat has zero interest in it. So I guess it’s officially mine now :p
For anyone working with a tiny space, floor seating might be worth considering. It doesn’t take up much visual space but still feels cosy. Would love ideas on how to style this corner even more. Maybe a small lamp or wall shelf?
