looking for recommendations for a general carpet color on our new home. We are doing the stairs for sure for the sake of our dog and might do the landing as well. If we do the landing should it match the bedroom carpet?
That solid pink-beige carpet will look dirty too soon on stairs. I would go with a patterned runner in fresh colors like your artwork and paint choices. It’ll leave the sides of the steps uncovered to show off all that gorgeous wood flooring you have everywhere!
ETA: I just realized you’ll re-carpet all the rooms? If so, carpet that leans creamy will look better with the woodwork. I’d still get a patterned runner for the stairs though 🙂
