How would you decorate this space?

Trying to find a way to make this family room feel cozy and warm. We’ll have to mantle-mount our TV above the fireplace. Want to make sure we make the space feel large, but feeling lost on which couches, wallpaper/paint, and curtain placement would work best. Added another pic for reference, as well as the floor plan.
