I have a design question that I hope you all can help me with.
I have a room with two ceiling areas. (A) is the drywall ceiling part, and then (B) is this area of open rafters, and then past (B) there is the upper ceiling part that has a wooden beam running along it that is located at an angle connecting the slanted portion and a level portion.
I want to use these wooden slat panels on the areas but am not sure if it would look good with the slats running long-ways on the drywall portion and then perpendicular to that on the higher part past the rafters (past (B)). I tried to draw this ceiling view without the rafters on the bottom right of the image.
Could you please help me decide if that would be a bad call to do that?
Just as an FYI—there will be a glass wall separating this room from the space to the left (the glass wall will be where the wall juts out after the two windows.)
Thanks so much in advance!
