I would love some ideas for making this currently sad and unwelcoming back door entryway more inviting. The exterior will be freshly painted and we will pressure wash the concrete patio and steps.
Our home is a farmhouse style so I’d like to go with a more classic look. So far I’m thinking to add pots and planters (including potted plants on each step to the right of the door), a large potted plant where the small table is now and a new larger doormat. Please share your wisdom with me!

Larger outdoor rug with a chair or bench, potted plants. Sconce and other lighting.
Start with a good power washing. You won’t believe what a difference that’ll make
