Hi everyone! I need some help…Just bought a small ranch and have to decorate.
We plan on taking down the large wall dividing the kitchen and living room to open up the place a little and within 6m-1y completely renovating the kitchen. Eventually white/off-white cabinets with central island in accent color or wood.
However, I need a couch in the meantime. Leaning toward light greige walls throughout kitchen/living room. Warm wood floors throughout. Living room is north facing and kitchen is south facing if that makes a difference.
What do you think about couch/potential accent colore? Looking at Drift of mist SW, any better wall color recs? Also how do you feel about mixing warm and cool toned decor?

Second photo is floor plan edited without wall between living room and kitchen.
Unless gray is your favorite color, I’d avoid it and go with the green couch. Wall paint could be a greenish-off-white like BM Swiss Coffee.
