My partner and I bought this house about a year ago. I’ve been the primary decorator and get down on myself a bit when I see other people’s spaces on the internet. But one time I heard something along the lines of “imagine your space was an airbnb, would you be happy with it if you opened the door to it?” Now I know my space isn’t a fancy airbnb, but I think it’s pretty cute and very cozy. And yes, I think I would like it a lot if I walked into an airbnb.
So for our 10 year anniversary, one year house anniversary…we decided to do no gifts and paint the living room because we’d been talking about it since we moved in. I didn’t really get before pictures until after we started painting prep, but they’re good enough.
We like it a lot!
