I love looking out my window but not when the sun is blinding me. Is it possible to turn just a few of the vertical slats to block out the sun and still be able to look out the window? Or do all the vertical blinds slats have to turn together at the same time? I don't wanna break these blinds because I'm in a rental. Thank you

Vertical blinds suck
I would open the vertical blinds all the way and install a curtain rod above. The curtains will hide the blinds and you can block the sun by moving the curtains as necessary.
You don’t have to remove the vertical blinds and will only have to patch a few holes when you take down the curtain rod.
