Purchased some splits with questionable provenance from an estate sale

Color: deep amber

Nose: bright red fruits. Just kidding, it’s muted, earthy, maybe some leather? Can one smell fear?

Palate: There’s some fleeting nuttiness and mushroom, immediately followed by hatred and shame.

Verdict: spectacular, B-

    I remember seeing old bottles of B&G wines from various regions sitting on warm liquor store shelves in Los Angeles. I imagine they all gave the same experience you describe!
