We decided with a group of friends to go crazy for 1 night.

Roulot: first time for me, absolutely stunning, the nose was so intense, with wet stone, a little bit of gun flint, on the palate the tension was incredible. I would never have guessed meursault and definetly not village. Long, very very long. Above many many 1er cru from most producers.

Raveneau: also a first. I am not a big fan of Chablis but I don’t think raveneau have a strong Chablis typicity. In a good spot, no sign of aging and nice complexity. Wet stone, oyster shell with a texture reminiscent of Côte d’Or White.

Rousseau clos st Jacques:. The type of wine that for the first 10 minutes everybody stop talking and keep enjoying the nose smiling.
You could smell the nose 5 feet away! Definetly still on the primary side but the intensity is just top tier, slightly under the 18 I recently tasted, velvety texture, not much perceptible oak. The fonsalette had big shoes too fill.

Fonsalette: well, oh boy did it deliver. Definitely raynaud. The nose is just so complex that honestly you can’t very pick up one or two things… I could do orange peel, leather…. But this doesn’t do justice to it. The palate was just slightly concentrated than the nose would let you believe. WOTN.
