A blend of Pinot Auxerrois with a touch of Pinot noir
Rediscovered this bottle tucked away in the back of my wine fridge, from what I remembered from having it before it was once quite austere, notes of VA which really seemed to have mellowed out
On the nose rich white floral, honey suckle, limoncello, pear, pleasantly aromatic
On the palate, candied green apple with more delicate floral notes in the background. The acid seems to have fallen off a little bit so there’s a bit of a battle between the acidity and residual sugar that is surprisingly pleasant, with me being such an acid head.
