I just started working on this wall in my kitchen/dining room. You can’t see in the picture but there is blank wall space on the left and the right of the wallpaper/table with the record player. What should I do about the blank space? I think I want more color or something. I even thought of hanging some sort of sheer curtain on the sides to maybe give it depth?? I don’t know. Any opinions?

Id paint the wall a dark color, like a dark blue

Ditch the small shelf and get some art my friend.

I’ve never seen that cat clock outside of TV. 😮

If all you have are small items for the wall, you should put them closer together instead of further apart.

It’s really awkward because the wallpaper suddenly ends, the paint is warm tone and the wallpaper is cool tone, and there’s a shelf crossing the boundary.

Either continue the wallpaper or remove it. If you remove it, consider painting.

I’d remove the shelves and lower the cat clock.

Paint could look nice or a custom wall decal. I’ve got a few in my house. One with my last name and the year we were married. A couple with my favorite quotes.
