The spoils of another fun night at work😍
Really apparent character here. I wouldn’t miss this as left bank, or maybe even Pauillac, blind. The slightly dry, ripe black cherry character is there, along with the toasty oak and graphite in the nose.
On the palate, there’s pretty substantial tannic structure and pretty high acid as well. It lacks depth on the palate, but I have little doubt that it will come with additional age. This wine is yummy, but it is still young and has a whole life ahead of it. Maybe it’ll grow up and get a real job instead of drinking and waiting tables for a living like me!
