I just bought this bottle of wine from my local grocery store last week. I didn’t notice these floating things in it when I bought it. It’s unopened, what are those things? And is it still safe to drink?
I think it Tartrares, should be safe to consume got a same problem with my D’Yquem 90 too

TARTRATES! Completely safe. You may know it in the culinary landscape as Cream of Tartar.

Acide tartrique. No problem. Sometimes it happens when the bottle have been in cold temperature.

Typically you would decant a bottle (even whites) with tartrates, only because they will give an unpleasant mouthfeel (crunchy). Safe to ingest though.
